Role Description

As a Drilling Locator at ONSITE, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient installation of underground utilities for fiber optic and dry utility projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Locating and tracking drill heads during directional drilling operations for underground utility installation
• Assisting with hydro-vacuum excavation and open trenching as needed for telecom projects
• Working closely with project teams to ensure precise placement and installation of utilities
• Following safety guidelines and industry best practices at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in utility locating and tracking for underground dry utilities installations
• Familiarity with telecommunications systems and plant construction preferred
• Ability to work in dynamic environments across multiple project sites throughout California
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, quality, and teamwork
